In 1986, Lisa Costello started Two Hands Unlimited, a landscape design/build company. As time went on, she began to take on larger and more complex projects, many of which needed to be engineered. She realized that having an Engineering license would facilitate the construction process and make life easier for her clients, which she achieved in 1994.
Matt Costello worked for Granite Construction for five years as a heavy equipment operator, and then worked at Santa Cruz Engineering as a lead operator and grade checker extraordinaire.
Matt and Lisa recently decided to start Watsonville Granding and Excavation as a team. We saw that by combining our real–world, on the ground experience, with the technical know how and the equipment to get the job done, we could create a company that would and can fulfill all of our client’s needs.
